NIRSA Region I 5K

Welcome to the inaugural NIRSA Region I 5K where universities and colleges from across the region will come together to have a first of its kind event! This virtual event will promote healthy activity, engagement, and encourage some socially distanced fun. The Region I Virtual 5K is an activity that can be completed from any location you choose. A treadmill, a neighborhood street, a track, a foothill trail…it’s up to you. You get to choose your own route, at your own pace, and time it yourself!

And of course we are going to spice things up with the college rivalry and participation challenges. The institution with the most participants will earn bragging rights and take home the Region I Cup! Participants from each Region I State and D.C. with the top referrals will also earn a prize!

This event will support NIRSA’s Region I Endowment which awards student scholarships to NIRSA educational events.
